A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome:
Le profil en développement durable – The sustainable development profile
In 2010, the University created the sustainable development profile, an optional course track
within participating bachelor’s degree programs. This additional 12-credit training focuses on general and field of study–specific sustainable development issues. The profile, the only one of its kind in Canada, does not extend the length of students’ studies.
In May 2013, 12 bachelor’s degree programs offered the sustainable development profile (Business administration, Public affairs and international relations (integrated), Chemical, Économics, Économics and mathematics, Geomoatic, Law, Medecine, Music, MusicTeaching, Multidisciplinary studies, Social work).
