A brief description of the institution's indoor air quality plan, policy, and/or practices:
Occupants of all campus buildings can contact an inquiry processing centre at any time for follow-up on concerns about indoor air quality. This system was introduced as part of an air quality inquiry management procedure implemented in 2004 by the workplace health and safety unit of the Université Laval Human Resources Department. A number of critical areas and workspaces are equipped with sensors able to detect certain potentially toxic gases in real time before they reach concentrations that may be harmful to occupant health and safety.
As such, all buildings on campus are eligible for the credit.
