A brief description of the metering system:
All buildings on campus have an electric meter, a steam meter and a water meter. Some buildings have a natural gas meter. Each month, the readings of electricity meters, steam, chilled water and gas are recorded in an energy software (NRG). Graphs, reports and performance indicators are then created.
