All entering students (including transfers) are invited to welcome days twice a year (at the beginning of Fall and Winter semesters) organised by the Student Service Office. During those days, the spotlight is turn on sustainability. Not only is the event itself is eco-responsible, but there is also different sustainable development booths providing information on:
- Sustainable development education: courses, programs, profile, etc.
- Research and creation related to sustainability
- Governance - sustainable development approach at Université Laval
- Fighting climate change
- Sustainable transportation
- Responsible purchasing and consumption
- Sustainable infrastructure
- Waste management
- Water and energy management
- Healthy lifestyle habits
- Social involvement
- Culture, living environment and global awareness
