A brief description of the program, including examples of peer-to-peer outreach activities:
The local sustainable development sponsors network is made up of representatives from different units (academics and services departments). The network mainly served as a liaison between units and follows up on sustainable development–related operations in the field.
Follow-up meetings are held once a semester to present and explain sustainable development initiatives to network members so they can share what they learn with their peers. Informational emails are also sent out from time to time.
The network meets 3 to 4 times a year to discuss various sustainability projects and suggest innovative solutions for the campus. Conferences and presentations are also offered specifically to the network once or twice a year.
A brief description of how the employee educators are selected:
Faculty and department heads designate a liaison to work with the employees and management of the administrative unit as well as the university’s Office of the Executive Vice Rector for Sustainable Development.
