We have 220 secure bicycle storage, 17 shower facilities, and 106 lockers for bicycle accessible to all commuters.

There are more than 2,221 short-term bicycle parking spots on campus and multiples long-term bicycle storage near all residences where residents can leave their bicycle for longer periods.

We have a bicycle sharing program at Laval University since 10 years. This service is offer at low prices for all the Université Laval's community.
Mass Transit Programs

A brief description of the mass transit programs:
The local transit operator, Réseau de transport de la Capitale (RTC), offers a program called L’abonne BUS. This program is offering a discount of 10% on the monthly bus pass. This program is only available via the employer. The same program has been deal between the students associations and the local transit operator. In 2015-2016, 3,740 students and 348 employees subscribed to this program.

The aim of Université Laval’s Guaranteed Ride Home program is to reassure employees who use sustainable transport by giving them the option of using a taxi in the event of an urgent or unexpected situation so long as they have their employer’s permission to leave work. Taxi costs are reimbursed by the employer.

Université Laval participates in a carpool/vanpool program. Since 2010, we have a signed contract with a supplier to get a carpooling platform offered to the entire university community. For trips shorter than 75km, this service is free for users. http://www.ulaval.covoiturage.ca/

Université Laval has a partnership with the enterprise Communauto, who is specialized in car sharing. We have implemented an electric terminal for an electric car of this fleet. We have three Communauto vehicles available to the university community exclusively for car sharing with reservation and four spaces are available for car sharing with no reservation.
