A brief description of the undergraduate degree program:
This bachelor's degree in sustainable development of the territory will allow you to become a professional able to participate, design and implement sustainable development strategies that take into account both the fundamental aspects of land use planning and the needs of the communities. This training will lead you to understand the major current issues related to this field from a global, local and interdisciplinary perspective. You will also be able to learn about the principles, concepts and methods specific to the disciplines of sustainable development and territory (sociology, economics, environment, political science, land law, planning, geography, forestry, agriculture, etc.).

This is a 12-credits minor generally made out of 4 courses :
1) an introduction course in sustainability (DDU-1000 aka sustainability 101)
2) a disciplinary-related course in sustainability (ex : COM-2154 Communications and Sustainability)
3) a set of course in SD from outside the field of knowledge (multidisciplinary approach) AND/OR experiencing SD through 3-credits internships or projects
