Université TÉLUQ is a member of the RUQDD, the Quebec University Sustainability Network. This network is composed of the people who are responsible for sustainable development in Quebec’s universities.

Yes

Several professors have given lectures or presentations on sustainable development in higher education over the past year.
November 2022: “Critical analysis of the governance system of an impact benefit agreement (IBA) signed between a James Bay Cree community and a junior lithium mining and processing company”, presented by Professor Emmanuelle Champion during the International Network on Organizations and Sustainable Development (INOSD) Conference.
December 2022: “The Role of Universities in Biodiversity - Track 2: Research and Training”. This lecture was given as part of COP15 in Montreal. Professor Lise Parent shared her research topic during this panel discussion.
In May 2023, at the 90th ACFAS congress, a conference entitled "Les enseignements d'une démarche de certification STARS à l'Université TÉLUQ" (Lessons from a STARS certification process at Université TÉLUQ) was presented at the colloquium "Développement durable: les Universités en font-elles assez?" (Sustainable development: are universities doing enough?).

Université TÉLUQ has several professors in the environmental field who are involved in various networks and bodies in addition to regularly participating in conferences. For example, Professor Lise Parent is on the board of directors of the Réseau des Femmes en Environnement (Women in Environment Network) and Professor Nicolas Bélanger is co-director of the Réseau Reboisement Ligniculture Québec (Quebec Intensive Sylviculture Reforestation Network, 2RLQ).

In May 2023, Université TÉLUQ presented its STARS certification application methodology to the Institut National de la Recherche Scientifique (National Institute of Scientific Research, INRS).
