A brief description of the program:
The University keeps a list of preferred vendors for all purchasing needs, many of which are locally or regionally based and operated businesses. In addition, the University follows the guidelines of the state executive order #4 which gives preference for locally sourced items, and pursues the LEED credits for locally sources materials in our new construction projects.
