A brief description of the guidelines for franchisees:
UB Campus Dining & Shops is committed to the long term sustainability of the University at Buffalo. In addition to the many practices in place to reduce the carbon footprint of our food systems, we carefully consider the sustainability practices of all franchises before engaging in business with them. We work to ensure that the cups and other utensils they distribute are environmentally friendly, and that the franchise is willing to participate in our composting program and the other various green initiatives we will continue to implement.
