A brief description of the program, policy, or practice:
Beginning in Fall 2012 the University at Buffalo will offer Gender Neutral Housing in both our Residence Halls & Apartments. These spaces will allow students to select a roommate, blind of traditional gender assignment. Space is limited in both our Residence Halls & Apartments for this type of housing. It is open to all students, regardless of age, race, gender, etc. Space is first offered to returning students and if it does not fill, it will be offered to incoming students.
