Electronic Bike and campus charging station Charging Station
A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome that outlines how credit criteria are met and any positive measurable outcomes associated with the innovation:
The Electronic Vehicle (EV) Club successfully converted a bycycle into an electronically assisted bike. This program was created as a teaching tool for the club and also as an opportunity to highlight the SGA's Charger Cycle's program -- where students can reserve bikes for a semester in order to get around campus. Upon completion, the EV Club designed and built an electronic charging station in a central part of campus so the user of the E-bike can easily charge the bike. The program was intended to be a prototype program that would test the feasability of integrating electronically assisted bikes into the Charger Cycles program on campus.
