A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:
The engagement of staff in sustainability initiatives is a critical aspect of a well-informed collaborative workforce. Through the Human Resources New Employee Orientation Program, one-hundred percent of new staff are provided with information on on-campus sustainability initiatives. Additionally, the UC Merced New Employee handbook also provides an overview of sustainability.

One-hundred percent of faculty participated in new faculty orientation and received information on sustainability.
