The UCSC Carbon Fund is a granting body that funds student and staff projects that reduce UCSC's carbon footprint. They provide funding, support, and participation in sustainability projects on campus and in the community that directly reduce greenhouse gas emissions, conduct relevant research, or carry out educational programs.

Funds are distributed by majority vote of the Carbon Fund Committee. The committee is made up of one representative from each of the following:
