Data source(s) and notes about the submission:
Total gross floor area of building space was provided by Utility and Energy Services reports. This total differs from the All Rooms and Buildings report provided by Christy Collier (Assistant Director, Space Utility Analysis). This decision was made due to report availability from baseline years and consistency with past reports (such as the Climate Action Plan). The All Room and Buildings report was used to determine the floor areas of laboratory space (use code 250), healthcare space (800 series), and other energy-intensive space (210, 215, 220, 225, 635, 710, 715) as a per room building report was not available from Utilities and Energy Services. Most discrepancies between the reports are attributed to: new construction/renovations; walkway expansions, portable (de)commissioning, and the inclusion of auxiliary units.
