UC Be Well
A brief description of the campaign, including how students and/or employees were engaged:
Recognizing that sustainability encompasses more than simply ecological health, the University of Cincinnati strives to create an environment that fosters and promotes healthy lifestyles for their employees. Seeing this as an important factor, the University of Cincinnati runs a program known as UC Be Well, which was formed in 2011 with the mission to educate, support and empower faculty and staff to make healthy lifestyle choices while building an overall culture of health for our campus and community.
In th espring of 2017, UC's Office of Sustainability is working with UC Be Well to help promote UC’s pop-up Farmers Markets. Employees will gain points/credits for attending these events.
On April, 8th of 2017, the Office of Sustainability at the University of Cincinnati is hosting a community bike ride in collaboration with the Green Umbrella. This event will help to help some of the proposed trails of the tristate trail initiative. Employees that attend this event will achieve points/credit.

Housing Conservation Challenges
A brief description of the campaign, including how students and/or employees were engaged (2nd campaign):
The University of Cincinnati has run Housing Conservation challenges over the last few years. The intention of these competitions is to increase energy efficiency and reduce
energy consumption between dorms on campus; their effect is to raise awareness among students living in campus housing about the impacts of their individual lifestyle choices, and to promote the value of conservation. This event will continue in the Fall of 2017.
