UC's Sustainability Coordinator and Assistant sustainability coordinator are a part of the Ohio Higher Ed Sustainability Professionals and meets with them annually. They are also part of the local chapter of the USGBC, and the Green Partnership for Greater Cincinnati--which also includes Cincinnati State. See http://www.green-cincinnati.org/. The Cincinnati 2030 district, which includes UC, also includes neighboring universities Xavier University, and Northern Kentucky University.

UC's Assistant Sustainability Coordintor reviewed Worcester Polytechnic Institute's green house gas emission in February 2020.

UC is part of an informal network of colleges and universities in Ohio that meets bi-annually, once in Ohio at one of the institutions and once at the annual AASHE conference, and shares best practices regularly through email exchange and group calls. In 2019 this conference as held at Kenyon College and in 2018 it was held at the Ohio State University. The 2020 conference is planned to take place at the University of Dayton.
