A brief description of the technology used:
The campus is exploring changing parking lot lights to LED as they become more economically viable. Currently several LED lights have been installed on streetways. LED's provide the parking lot lights for the Heller Center and LED wall packs are being used for some building applications.
LED lights are also part of the lighting design for the new sign on Nevada, which will have LED lights in the glass pyramids at each end and 6 LED floodlights to illuminate the front of the sign.
