A brief description of the mentoring relationship and activities:
UCCS Sustainability staff have provided strategic support and mentorship to Pikes Peak Community College sustainability staff (2 separate sustainability coordinators) for many years. Mentorship consists mainly of advice on waste management and recycling strategies, sustainability leadership within the larger community, etc. Additionally, Linda Kogan, the Sustainability Director sits on the Sustainability Council for Colorado College. Additionally, the Sustainability Director works with Colorado School of Mines to provide sustainability guidance and help with shaping a new sustainability director position.

In 2017 UCCS received a peer review from CU Boulder for the UCCS Office of Sustainability.

Yes
A brief description of other collaborative efforts around sustainability during the previous year:
UCCS, CU Boulder, and CU Denver all collaborate on issues as they arise. Currently the three campus sustainability offices are working with Procurement Services Center to leverage buying power to pursue more sustainable contracts.
UCCS collaborates with Colorado College, CU Boulder, CU Denver, and CSU Fort Collins, and Pikes Peak Community College primarily in numerous ad hoc initiatives, including events, sharing strategies, mentorship, etc. Collaboration includes the Colorado Campus Consortium for Renewable Energy, a multi-year effort to secure large scale renewables for higher education throughout Colorado.
