Data source(s) and notes about the submission:
We used the Full-time equivalent student enrollment from IC-3 with both undergraduates and graduate students since our data was a combination of both. We pulled data from two places: 1) was the most recent NSSE (National Survey of Student Engagement) from 2015 and 2) was an email survey to our community/volunteer-engaged student clubs and organizations. Between the freshman responses, senior responses and the email responses, we calculated an average of 5.03 hours of volunteer service per student. We used the NSSE data to determine roughly 45.97 percent of our student body is involved in some sort of volunteering during their college career, ranging from 1-5 hours to 30+ hours each week.
