Data source(s) and notes about the submission:
Notes:
3/29/21 - Previously we reported 3964 sq ft of healthcare space. Upon review of definitions, it does not appear that we have any area that qualifies as healthcare space. Previously we reported 27,906 sq ft of other energy intensive space. We have since recalculated our space inventory and believe that all energy intensive space is now identified as laboratory space, so the other energy intensive space category is obsolete.
6/18/21 - Past submissions have omitted our student neighborhood and several other small buildings. This was because we did not have easy access to energy data for those spaces. We have solved this problem, so we now report the total square footage. This is: 5,511,406 sqft total / 1,170,165 sqft lab. For some credits (i.e. water use) we still do not have access to student neighborhood data. In those cases, we are using a different value for building area that represents only the spaces we have data for. Those values are: 4,805,760 sqft total / 1,170,165 sqft lab. In practice this omits the following spaces:
- 438 Stonemill
- Alumni House
- Garden Apartments
- 1141 Brown St (sold)
- University Place
- 231, 233 L
- Sawmill church
- 223 L
- Student neighborhood houses
