A brief description of programs, policies, infrastructure investments, outreach efforts, and/or other factors that contribute to the diversion rate for construction and demolition waste:
Our construction waste was tracked as part of our efforts to achieve LEED MRc2: Construction Waste Management; for our new Ruffatto School of Education.
As a result of our construction policy that all new campus construction be built to the LEED silver standard or equivalent, the University will continue to give consideration to the LEED MRc2: Construction Waste Management credit.
