A brief description of the employee wellness program, policy, or practice:
The Employee Assistance Program is a confidential resource for University of Denver faculty, administrators, and staff. The University recognizes that personal stress affects not only an individual's life, but also the quality of an individual's work. The goal of the Employee Assistance Program is to minimize the effects of personal stress on both a person's life and his or her work. In addition, the Health & Counseling Center runs a Wellness Wednesday program every month. The staff of the center present important education workshops designed to help students, faculty, and staff with important psychological issues. These workshops are open to all students, faculty, and staff free of charge. Also, Human Resources Office also offers Life/Work Balance program: http://www.du.edu/hr/training/coursedescriptions.html
