• Bridge Project partners with local community housing to work with youth academic success toward college prep and attendance www.du.edu/bridgeproject/programs
• Volunteers in Partnership (VIP) Program targets middle and high school students to build self-esteem and prepare for college. www.du.edu/specpro/vip
• College Access and Pathways Programs coordinates various outreach to historically underrepresented, pre-collegiate populations to encourage and empower academic success and college-going. www.du.edu/cme/programs-services/access
Undergraduate students:
• Disability Services and Learning Effectiveness Programs: The DSP is a no-cost program that facilitates delivery of basic accommodations to undergraduate and graduate/law students with documented disabilities. The LEP is a comprehensive, fee-for-service program that provides academic support services beyond basic academic accommodations. www.du.edu/disability
• Veteran Services is a cooperative support office for active duty and veteran students. www.du.edu/veterans
• Excelling Leaders Institute (ELI) targets to students of color, lower income, first generation and other traditionally under-represented students (but open to any applicants), to support their transition to and success through college. www.du.edu/cme/programs-services/eli.html
• International Student and Scholar Services: provides timely, accurate, and effective advising and assistance to international students, faculty, and staff in matters of immigration, communication, and cultural adjustment. Their goal is to support the international community on campus so that each international student and scholar has a productive and fulfilling experience at DU. www.du.edu/intl/isss
• Joint Council and numerous Student Alliances (e.g., Black SA, Latino SA, Native SA, Asian SA, Queer Straight Alliance, Muslim SA): a representative body of campus student organizations involved in and dedicated to promoting diversity, Inclusive Excellence, and/or social justice. The Council meets monthly and provides a platform for collaborating on events and issues, avoiding programmatic competition, addressing campus climate concerns, and providing organizational development opportunities. www.du.edu/cme/programs-services/joint-council.html

Having just finalized a complete overhaul of Title IX structure on campus, we are revisiting the Bias Incident Response Team (BIRT) to engage with those affected by incidents beyond form judicial/legal processes. Will be joint project of CME and Equal Opportunity.
