The literacy assessment was developed and refined beginning in 2018 with a post doc in the IRISE program, who had supported the development of a sustainability literacy in their graduate program.

The sustainability assessment has been used sparingly to date, namely assessing understanding of student sustainability interns

we have not had an adequate sample size to date as we've continued to explore other ways to gain wider distribution and pre- post-testing.
