The Honolulu CC Sustainability Colloquia Sub-Committee:
This committee organizes speakers including experts from the campus and the community to discuss topics related to the environment and sustainability. Talks are open to and promoted to students, staff, and the public. There were a total of 154 attendees during the 2021-2022 Academic Year.

A brief description of any external professional development and training opportunities in sustainability that are supported by the institution :
Excellence in Education Day is hosted annually by the University of Hawai'i Community College (UHCC) System campuses. The 2022 theme was Mālama Kekahi I Kekahi (Taking care of our students, each other, and ourselves) which reflects the UHCC’s ongoing commitment to student and employee success and wellness. The 2021 theme was ʻAʻaliʻi Kū Makani (Steadfast in the Face of Difficulty) and encompasses the UH Strategic Directions focuses, which includes Sustainability. These conferences are highly recommended for all UHCC staff.

For Sustainability Co-coordinators, performance related to sustainability was included in release time evaluations. Although release time is no longer given, coordinators include their activities in promotion dossiers.
The coordinators provide an End of the Year report to the Chancellor summarizing accomplishments and goals for the next year.
