UHD Office of Research and Sponsored Program does not have a formal program but will assist in pairing faculty with complementary research interests for funding opportunities. In 201, UHD and UH partnered to sponsor the Synergy grant where UHD faculty would pair with UH faculty in a collaborative research effort. Successful applicants received $60k to be used for research with the stipulation of seeking external funding over the next 2-3 years.
