A brief description of the institution’s green event certification program:
The Green Event Guide is designed to promote sustainable behavior and practices in university affiliated events. Departments, colleges, units and student groups are invited to fill out the Green Event Checklist and apply for Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum certifications for their events. Areas of focus include food, waste, advertising, transportation, engagement and supplies, with room for each group to highlight other specific features.
