A brief description of the institution’s methodology for evaluating employee satisfaction:
Survey of UIC Academic Professional Staff
The survey was conducted from July 15th to August 9th of 2010. It was sponsored by the Chancellor, the Provost, the Vice Chancellors, the Executive Assistant Vice President for Business & Finance/Chief Business Officer, and the CEO of UIC’s Healthcare System. The survey was coordinated by the Academic Professional Advisory Committee (APAC), and conducted by the Survey Research Laboratory (SRL). More than 1,200 employees completed the survey, far exceeding the original goals for completion rate.
Over the past several months, the SRL has been in the process of analyzing the survey responses. They plan to release the final results later this year. Once the results are complete, they will be presented to APAC and the survey sponsors. They will also be published online and communicated to all Academic Professional staff.
