The Office carried out a comprehensive assessment in 2008, and completed it in 2012, with a series of action items to be addressed. Since then, we have reviewed diversity data on an annual basis, e.g., Zero Group Representation Report, which indicates departments with no underrepresented minority faculty. A scorecard of diversity-related data is available at https://diversity.uic.edu/diversity-data/

Annual review of data is used for discussion of assessment findings, and programs, policy, and initiatives are developed. For example, we have developed more pipeline programs to support underrepresented undergraduate students.
