A brief description of the plan:
The UI Master Plan includes guidelines for the development of bicycle-support services. The plan defines a broad framework that will guide campus development and stewardship in terms of land use, open space, pedestrian circulation, vehicular circulation and parking. The master plan is principally concerned with: the wise use of land; the location of facilities and their relationship to one another; the pedestrian, bicycle and vehicular systems that connect use areas to one another; and the overall structure of open space and buildings that ties the campus together and defines its visual character.
