The University of Iowa Water Plant currently tracks the consumption of all university buildings to which it supplies water. As of November 2012, the University of Iowa Water Plant tracks approximately 413 meters, 355 of which are found on the main campus and 58 on the Oakdale Campus. The meters employed within the University buildings vary in size and type; these types include: Revenue, Sewer Deduct, No Sewer, Information, and Sewer Only meters.
