A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation (including how multiple dimensions of sustainability are addressed):
The Office of Sustainability participates in new student orientation at both Fort Garry and Bannatyne campuses which is available to all students including transfer and graduate students. Students at William Norrie Campus are brought to Bannatyne Campus to participate in orientation. The organized activities include information on the Sustainability Strategy 2016-2018 and pledge photos for the 6 goals (Resource Conservation and Efficiency, Transportation and Accessibility, Ecology and Environment, Land Use, Climate and Campus Life), lug-a-mug promotion with reusable mugs available, or one of a trivia wheel with sustainability questions or a recycling sorting relay race.
