The lowest paid regular employee receives $14.79/hour. Part-time staff members are insured for an amount equal to their deemed annual salary. The deemed annual salary represents the gross basic salary in the preceding fiscal year exclusive of any supplementary, sessional, or overtime payments, increased by the cost-of-living percentage adjustment to the Canada Pension Plan at the immediately preceding January 1. Each eligible employee will have a healthcare spending account in addition to the insured benefits. If they have opted out of the Supplementary Health Plan, they will still be eligible for this benefit. The spending account for part-time staff members is an annual maximum (April 1 - March 31) of $510.
