Data source(s) and notes about the submission:
The expenditure data for the Cleaning Products part of this credit comes from the distribution vendors (JD Stetson and Kellco) providing the products to the UMass Physical Plant Custodial division via Physical Plant Buyer Michael Rossi. Custodial Services cleans all classroom and administrative buildings on campus (majority of campus buildings).
There are two other cleaning systems at UMass in Residential Life (52 residence halls) and Auxiliary Services (Campus Center, Retail Dining and Dining Halls). Each entity uses it's own cleaning systems both of which use high percentage of Green Seal certified products. Auxiliary Services uses the OS-1 cleaning system which has won national environmental awards.
The custodial paper purchasing data comes from the custodial paper product distribution company, EBP Solutions.
