A brief description of the student group, including its activities:
There are over 45 student groups on campus that are focused on sustainability. The Student Sustainability Initiative is another student group that specifically works together with these student organizations to coordinate them. The SSI is a collaborative group of leaders in campus organizations, environmental groups, and student governments interested in making the University of Michigan a more sustainable place. Once a month they gather for Roundtable discussions to catch up on group events, share project ideas, and further discuss sustainability issues. Their website is http://www.umich.edu/~umssi/index.html.
