A brief description of the plan:
The University of Michigan co-sponsored the City of Ann Arbor’s Non-motorized Plan (2007) which addresses bicycle-related planning in the City of Ann Arbor and at the University of Michigan. The plan is currently being updated (2012) and U-M is actively involved in this effort that will further address bicycle planning on City and University owned-roads. Bicycle planning has also been incorporated in campus master plan updates, and the University Planner’s Office is currently working on a comprehensive master plan update. In addition, OCS has undertaken an Integrated Assessment for the entire campus. A focus area in this effort has been transportation with many of the team's recommendations focusing on bicycle‐related improvements at the University.
