A brief description of the program:
For the last 20 years, U-M Waste Management Services has worked with U-M Housing to make Student Move-In an Earth-friendly event. Since 1990, a program has been in place to collect the tons of cardboard generated by students during the August Move-In and expanded in 2000 to include Styrofoam collection .
