In 2011, the University of Michigan enhanced its commitment to sustainability with the creation of the Office of Campus Sustainability and the adoption of long term Sustainability Goals.
The University's Five Year Master Plan (http://umaec.umich.edu/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/UMAA-FY19-Capital-Outlay-and-Project-Request.pdf) indicates that U-M "dedicate ourselves to ethical and responsible stewardship of financial, physical and environmental resources.
