A brief description of the employee educators program (1st program):
The University of Michigan Green Team Program encourages U-M staff and faculty to join in working towards a more sustainable university by increasing sustainability practices in their workplace. By engaging staff and faculty in a voluntary program, we can promote sustainable behavior across the campus, make greater strides toward our sustainability goals, and strengthen our position as a leader in sustainability. Any staff or faculty can start a green team in their workplace or at a building level. Green Team members gain access to a suite of resources, small scale grant funding, monthly collaboration sessions, and support from a staff liaison with the Office of Campus Sustainability.

Data source(s) and notes about the submission:
The Green Team program is tracked by the number of teams, not by individuals. We have approximately 200 Green Teams registered on campus with an average size of 2-3 people. We used these averages to calculate the total number of trained employee educators as well as the total number of hours worked.
