A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:
Sustainability information is now provided as an additional resource as part of all new staff orientation.
Storm Water training is a requirement for new employees - The State of Michigan storm water permit under which the U-M operates requires that employees be trained on basic storm water management principles. To meet this requirement, and learn what the U-M does and what you can do to help reduce pollutants from reaching the Huron River, please watch this short educational storm water video (https://ehs.umich.edu/environmental/water/stormwater/storm-water-video/). After viewing the video, please feel free to visit the EHS Storm Water Website (https://ehs.umich.edu/environmental/water/stormwater/) to learn more on the topic.
