Green Office Programs

A brief description of the campaign:
The Green Office Program surveys faculty and staff regarding their sustainable practices. Questions relate to shopping behaviors, electricity usage, single use product usage, heating practices, etc. Each behavior has a designated number of points that get various levels of certification (platinum, gold, silver, bronze) with the higher number of sustainable practices achieving higher levels of certification.

A brief description of the measured positive impact(s) of the campaign:
Thus far 32 offices have participated in the Green Office Program. Many of the offices increased their sustainable practices through the certification process as evidenced by their request for signage provided by the Office of Sustainability and other resources. In addition, four offices have taken action after the initial evaluation and have increased their score.
