The University of Minnesota system has a comprehensive Indoor Air Quality program. At Morris, this program is managed by the Dept of Environmental Health & Safety (DEHS)in collaboration with Plant Services. The program has a major focus on preventing and responding to water infiltration from rain and other sources into buildings. There are protocols for water events involving DEHS evaluations and Plant Services standard operating procedures. The program also receives and responds to a variety of complaints from building occupants and tracks trends. There are smoke free polices enforced.
