A brief description of how the employee educators are selected (1st program):
Until 2013, UNHSI ran the UNH Sustainability Stewards program in partnership with the campus-wide Energy Task Force. Sustainability Stewards was a voluntary program in which employee volunteers received sustainability information to share with their buildings, departments and offices through monthly lunches, in-person events and guest lectures. The program moved online with information shared via email in 2013.
During academic year 2013-2014, UNHSI dissolved the Sustainability Stewards and began sharing sustainability information with employees electronically via the UNHSI website, Campus Journal (the UNH Durham employee newsletter, which has a dedicated sustainability section that UNHSI writes), emails, newsletters, and social media.
