A brief description of the program:
UNCG partnered with Zipcar to begin a car sharing program in August 2010. Three vehicles, including one hybrid, comprise the car-share fleet. The cars are available to members at two convenient locations on campus. Faculty, staff, and students 18 years of age or older who are licensed drivers may enroll in the program for business or personal trips. There is an annual $35 membership fee, along with hourly or daily use rates per vehicle.
