A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:
New Employee Orientation consists of mandatory information/benefits enrollment sessions conducted for all new employees. These sessions are held semi-monthly at UNCG. During these sessions, Facilities Operations staff present several topics on sustainability initiatives at UNCG. Areas covered include the university's Petroleum Displacement Plan, energy & water conservation, and waste reduction & recycling. The presentation, which was developed in part with the Sustainability Office, is also made available online and included in the information packet each new employee receives.
