Increase education and awareness of the campus community regarding their purchasing practices as well as how to appropriately dispose of their various wastes. Improve the campus reuse and recycling infrastructure. Participate in Recyclemania. Establish waste reduction goals in both the UNCG Sustainability Matrix and within UNCG's Climate Action Plan.

Information was also received from Mark Davenport of the Office of Institutional Research. Recycling information was submitted by Ben Kunka, OWRR. Baseline year = 2005-06; performance year = 2011-12.
