The state of North Carolina directed that all facilities reduce water consumption 20% (on a GSF basis) by 2015, from a 2002-03 baseline. UNCG has far exceeded this goal, achieving a 61.2% gross reduction and 71% reduction per GSF. Further reduction strategies are found within our Climate Action Plan.

Also received information from Mark Davenport of the Office of Institutional Research. Water consumption data are from Facilities Operations. Baseline year = 2005-06; performance year = 2012-13. Note that demographic data have been revised using updated figures from the Office of Institutional Research.
