In summer 2017 and again in winter 2018, the Sustainability Office sent to all students who would be new campus residents the following term a set of four weekly emails with robust information about: sustainability definition; how to recycle; sustainable transportation; reuse opportunities; sustainable electronics; thrift stores; local food; the UNCG Green Fund; Green Room certification; student groups; water cisterns; tree campus USA; UNCG wetlands; and UNCG pollinator gardens.
