Sustainability Intern
A brief description of the student educators program (1st program):
-Program targets all incoming freshmen, but engages with entire student population
-Engage freshmen and transfer students during the Resources Fair portion of all New Student Orientation Sessions about the campus sustainability programs, goals, etc.
-Give sustainability program presentation to freshmen during Freshmen Seminar classes
-Conduct sustainability education and awareness events throughout the year around known causes, like Earth Day, World Water Day, National Drive Electric Week, America Recycles Day, etc.
-Students are trained on how to create presentations with factual cited information that is also engaging and will make an impact on the students. They are also trained on how to engage with students in a professional but relatable manner. We strive to have our interns welcoming to new students while also educating them and spreading awareness.

-However, the largest group that the student educators are able to interact with are freshmen and transfer students because of orientation, the Resources Fair, and most of the students that do not live at home residing on campus.
